Fast Track Fellowship Programme
Course Overview
The fast-track programme is open to medical professionals with MD/DNB or similar qualifications in medicine, emergency medicine, respiratory medicine, medical oncology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and geriatrics. The BAPIO training academy will fund doctors for the GMC, and they will work for reputable hospital trusts in the NHS for two years. The chosen applicant will receive concurrent tier 2 visa assistance from the trust. The candidate must register for an online degree or diploma programme in a related field of study or an online MBA programme with a UK university during these two years. After the aforementioned two years are complete, the applicant has two options: either they return to their home country or they stay and continue their career in the UK.
Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS or Equivalent Graduate Degree
- Valid Registration Certificate
- Internship Completion Certificate
- Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (Recognised by NMC) in Relevant Speciality
- IELTS Score - 7 in All Individual Sections & Total Score of 7.5 /OET Score - B and Above
- Total experience of 3 years in the specific speciality (Inclusive of PG Training), however, there should be no gap in clinical experience in the last 12 months on the date of application for a fellowship program. For eg: if you are applying on 1st Sep 2022 then the continuity of service certificate should be produced from 1st Sep'21 till 1st Sep'22.
